BIM is helping project teams coordinate design, reduce clashes, and manage infrastructure data with better accuracy.

BIM adoption: The future of infrastructure in Bangladesh

Building Information Modeling is more than 3D drawing. It creates a shared digital model that architects, engineers, contractors, and owners can use to understand project decisions before construction begins.

For infrastructure projects, BIM can reduce costly rework by detecting clashes between structure, MEP, and architectural systems. It also improves quantity takeoff, scheduling, documentation, and long-term facility management.

Bangladesh has a strong opportunity to build BIM talent now. Learners who understand Revit, coordination workflows, documentation standards, and model-based communication will be better prepared for local and international projects.
